Taken over from the Rochais family by Vanessa Cherruau, a young thirty-something Angevin, Plaisance is a story of the heart:

a soul.
And the potential of this thousand-year-old terroir becomes obvious.
The adventure begins on September 12, 2019 with a baby in the womb and half of a new team under the elbow. A crazy project.

Château de Plaisance is a leading wine estate situated in the heart of the Anjou Noir region, on the prestigious terroirs of Chaume, Quarts de Chaume and Savennières.
Organically farmed since 1995 and biodynamically since 2008, the estate is dedicated to expressing the authentic character of its terroirs. Taken over in 2019 by Vanessa Cherruau, the vineyard covers 25 hectares, where Chenin Blanc takes centre stage alongside Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The wines of Château de Plaisance are distinguished by their precision, elegance and ability to reveal the full richness of the great Loire terroirs. Each cuvée is crafted with minimal intervention to preserve the identity of the vintage, the terroir and the living elements.
