Antídoto is a wine that comes from a mosaic of 550 plots of old vines, laid out in terraces dotted with pebbles, in the easternmost part of the Ribera de Duero appellation, in Soto de San Esteban, province of Soria.
Grape varieties:
100% tempranillo (Tinto fino Soriano).
Tasting notes:
This wine has a garnet colour, revealing us notes of ripe fruit (blueberries, currants, cherries), toasted notes and spices. On the palate, it is a wine with a certain density, but with a supple and silky texture. Lots of minerality, with a nice, well-controlled acidity. The tannins are supple and round, with depth. A beautiful finish with subtlety and toasty, vanilla notes. A pure and balanced wine, seductive. A modern and straightforward Ribera del Duero wine.
