Ester Nin and Carles Ortiz are behind this very interesting project. She, an oenologist from a family of winemakers who left her native Penedès to settle in the Priorat and work with Daphne Glorian, with whom she was able to create the famous and prestigious Clos Erasmus wine, whose 2004 and 2005 vintages received 100 Parker points; and he, a retired builder and climber who decided to settle in Porrera when he took over the Les Planetes winery, and who has been working his vineyards according to the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture from the very beginning.
This duo produces wines of the highest quality with the philosophy of respect for the environment and nature. Wines that reflect the territory, the climate and the vintage, made with minimal intervention and fermenting with indigenous yeasts.
With Planetes - Vi blanc de Varietats Antigues, they offer us the opportunity to taste a single variety of white carignan from Priorat.
The wine is aged for 6 months in clay amphorae and 3 months in oak barrels and allows us to rediscover this ancient grape variety that contains rusticity and terroir without sacrificing elegance.

Tasting notes:
The nose is very subtle, with some notes reminiscent of white fruits. On the palate, this wine appears much more powerful and expressive, with volume, freshness and marked acidity. Dry and very elegant finish.
