Mégaphone is produced by the Brunier family, also owners of the famous Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe (Châteauneuf-du-Pape).
It comes from vines on the southern slopes of the Dentelles de Montmirail, in the village of Saint-Hippolyte-le-Graveyron.
Grape varieties:
80% Grenache noir and 20% Syrah
Tasting notes:
The colour is ruby and the nose is inviting with its ripe fruity intensity and liquorice notes. The palate is very beautiful, we feel the terroir of the Ventoux with spices, garrigue, all with finesse. A fresh and elegant wine that does not lack southern character.
Food and wine pairing :
Rack of lamb in a spicy crust, savory reduced juice and sautéed potatoes. Hare stew with black olive polenta.
