The estate was born from the association of three former cooperative members from Maury and the young generation of the Domaine de la Rectorie, in Banyuls. The protagonists settled in 2001 in the vast premises of an old cooperative cellar, before moving to a new cellar in Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet. The vineyard is located in the north-western part of the Pyrénées-Orientales department, in the high quality Fenouillèdes region. This estate has gradually asserted itself as a safe bet; the wines are very consistent and now worthy of praise.


      Grape varieties :
100% Grenache noir.
Fermentations are carried out in vats, followed by mutage on grapes with neutral alcohol from 96° grapes in order to obtain approximately 90 grams of residual sugar per litre. The wine is aged in vats for 12 months.

      Tasting notes :
Beautiful garnet colour. The nose is richly aromatic with notes of candied fruit and hints of roasted cocoa. The palate is intense and tonic. This Maury is harmonious with hints of prune, quince and cocoa. The finish is long with intensity and a lot of roundness on the tannins.

     Wine style :
Natural sweet red wine.

     Food and wine pairing :
Fine fig tart on a bitter chocolate biscuit, topped with a coffee almond tuile. Leg of lamb confit, fresh figs and polenta with black olives from Nyons.
