The southernmost vineyards in the appellation developed special cellar, located 8 km from Tournon, at the mouth of the Isere and the Rhone, on the 45th parallel.
Laurent and Dominique Courbis operate vineyards on steep slopes, in St. Joseph and Cornas appellation in the Cotes du Rhone.
The wines are elegant and delicate while developing some power.
Grape:
Syrah only. on clayey limestone 30%, 70% granitic arena.
Traditional vinification in vats and 35% in barrels of wine 1 (15%) and 2, 3 or 4 wines (50%).
Followed by 10 months of aging before the uniform bottle.
