Yalumba

Samuel's Collection - Bush Vine Grenache 2018

Barossa

Australie - Australie méridionale

After 5 generations and 167 years, Yalumba is none other than Australia's oldest family estate.
Over the years, the estate has grown in size and fame, to represent the best wine Australia has to offer. Yalumba now owns vineyards in some of the most renowned wine areas in the country: Barossa Valley, Eden Valley and Coonawara among others.

Scattered over the bottom of the Barossa valley, Grenache vineyards selected for the quality of their old vines are at the origin of this wine.

Grape varieties:

100% black grenache.

Tasting Notes:

The dress is not very dense. The nose is saturated with aromas of cherries, fragrant berries and notes of crushed peppercorns, flavors of pomegranate and sweet spices. These aromas are found on the palate where they blend into velvety tannins. Delicate but deep, a nice civilized wine, far from the bodybuilt caricatures characteristic of many New World wines!

Wine style:

Delicate and complex red wine.

Shoulder of lamb confit with spices, crispy polenta, rosemary crumble. Beef Stroganoff and new potatoes.
