The Taralas estate is located south of Naoussa on the slopes of Vermion. He won many international competitions. Wine critic Robert Parker has taken a liking to this single-varietal Xinomavro from 40-year-old vines.
The Mavro is made from organic vines. Spontaneous fermentation, unfiltered and unadorned bottling. Natural wine. It has matured for five months in French barrels and shows a modern style of a Naoussa wine in which the fruit is in the foreground.

Tasting Notes:

In the glass, the Mavro shows itself in a beautiful garnet red. On the nose, aromas of black forest fruits, sundried tomatoes and olives develop. There are also spicy notes of pepper, caraway and tobacco. This wine is dry and juicy on the palate. It presents a powerful body, refreshing acidity and robust tannins with a well integrated alcohol. The finish is long and racy.

Rack of lamb in a spice crust, tian of Mediterranean vegetables. Supreme of pigeon with four peppers and cherry juice.
